Makoko school Project

2021 Ground visit

Support our cause

The School

As a celebration of our 5th year anniversary, MD has embarked on a project to build a primary school in the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria.

Makoko is a floating slum in Lagos, Nigeria with a population estimated to be over 150,000. Makoko is a neighborhood across the 3rd Mainland Bridge located on the coast of mainland Lagos. A third of the community is built on stilts along the lagoon and the rest is on the land (Wikipedia).

Impact goal

Majestic Daughters goal is to impact at least 50 - 120 children per year from primary one through primary 5.

Empower, local artisans especially women. Local women will be engaged in the whole process from start to finish.

Local women will be vetted and hired as teachers of the school. Majestic daughters will continuously provide oversight of management and support for the school with salaries, school supplies and books

Land & Building

The chief ruler of the area has given majestic Daughters a land to build a school for the community's children. This school will replace the currently broken down and dilapidated  (see picture) building in the locality.

Majestic Daughters' goal is to complete this building. This Building will hold four (4) classrooms, two (2) teacher's offices, and One (1) storage room. Boards, furnishings and supplies.

Your Support is needed

Giving is an expression of our love, selflessness and trust in the Lord. It is not a requirement for blessings from God, just an opportunity to honor Him. Your gifts help us feed, clothe, support and rebuild women's lives. Be confident that when you sow into this ministry, it is sown in good ground and produces much fruit. The supernatural results we continue to see in women's lives being changed around the world as we minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ and do His works. Help us continue the work by supporting us with your contributions and donati

Support Our Cause

Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and, improve the conditions and lives of these children. We thank you for your generous donation.
